"Ea Mai Ke Kai Mai", meaning “rising from within the ocean”, was the 2025 UHM BFA exhibition theme representing all of our journeys of rising above and celebrating our efforts to get where we are now. Again, this exhibition not only includes the Graphic Design program but also all of the BFA practices in the Art Department. The exhibition remained open to the public from April 22nd until May 11th, 2025.
I was fortunate enough to work with my classmates Hazelle Baptista, Valerie Eng, Alyssa Diane Jimenez, and Micah Tablit to create the graphics for the exhibition. In close collaboration with Valerie Eng, we worked on the social media graphics and invitation design. For our space in the Commons Gallery, the Graphic Design program worked together to choose what projects to display, and set up and take down the exhibition.

To the left is my table space for my exhibition project and packaging project. To the right was the room setup of the Commons Gallery for the Graphic Design program's portion of the exhibition, featuring a table for the work mentioned, on the left wall pages from our typography books adjusted to posters, and on the right wall our WHWA identities and meanings.
